Our pMD experience has been nothing short of amazing. Each part of the journey - pre-implementation planning, implementation, and post-implementation performance and support - has been superbly delivered by the pMD team. Pre-implementation included customizing pMD to work with our workflow rather than the other way around. It included pMD's development and testing of an interface with our practice management system; this interface rocks. My team went into the implementation with confidence thanks to the superb pMD team. The onsite implementation continued our amazing journey. Four members of the pMD family spent three days with us. Each knows the product inside-and-out. We tweaked a couple of workflows during implementation. Because two members of the pMD team were software engineers, these changes were made in real-time and worked seamlessly. It might seem like a little thing, but what really impressed me was that every pMD team member taught from the same page; I've witnessed training where the trainers created lots of confusion by training staff differently. Their patient, hands-on training style - initial training for each person and ongoing communication during the implementation - is very effective. They are some of the nicest folks you could ever hope to have work with your practice. We have had no issues since pMD was implemented, but our implementation team and the company continue to check in and make sure we are happy. The most common question I am asked about pMD has nothing to do with its use; my doctors and staff want to know why we didn't get pMD years ago. Hospital billing lag time and lost charges have all but been eliminated. The secure messaging feature works great on both provider cell phones and staff desktops. We had high hopes that pMD might improve our operations...seamless integration with existing systems and workflows, better secure messaging, and a reduction in lost charges and billing lag time. pMD has surpassed these high hopes and become one of the best investments made in my 25-plus years of managing medical practices.
