pMD Maintenance Details

pMD planned system maintenance: Saturday 1/25, from 2 PM - 4 PM Pst

pMD will undergo maintenance on Saturday, January 25, from 2 pm to 4 pm Pacific Time. As we upgrade our database, the pMD website will not be available or may have degraded performance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank you for your patience.

FAQs

What does “the system will not be available” mean?

The pmd.com public website will continue to load. However, at times, you will be unable to log into the secure website, which may stop responding during usage.

You can continue to use the pMD mobile app, but it may not be able to process data. You will see a red banner in the app if the app cannot connect due to system maintenance. Any information you enter into the app will be synced automatically once maintenance is complete.

Integrations, including between pMD and hospital systems, may be unable to exchange data during maintenance. The data should resume flowing normally after our database upgrade is finished.

What if I need to use pMD during this window, how can I know whether it’s “safe” to use and whether the maintenance is still happening?

You can use pmdstatus.com to view updates on the database upgrade as it occurs. If the status site shows green “Available” badges, there should be no system issues.

It is safe to use pMD during this time, but your work may be interrupted. Additionally, you may be logged out abruptly. We recommend using the mobile app instead since the impact is likely to be less severe.

What specifically is pMD changing during this planned maintenance?

pMD is upgrading its database. The new infrastructure will provide a better user experience for all pMD customers. It will also allow pMD’s system to stay reliable as our customer base continues to grow.
