pMD has recently released an update that allows patients to save their credit card information when making a payment online. As long as their card stays valid, front office staff and billers can continue to run the card on file.
At this time, the ability to save cards only shows for patients and only shows when making a payment online, as seen below:


Patients can choose from saved cards for ease of use during future payments.
Once a patient saves their card information in pMD, your practice can collect copays easily using their saved information. The same applies to any payments collected by our billing specialists.
As needed, patients, office staff, or billers can also remove cards so that they are no longer stored by pMD.
