How to Use pMD HIPAA Compliant Text Messaging on an iPhone
The following provides an overview of how to use the pMD text messaging app with an iPhone. pMD Secure Messaging enables physicians and health care teams to securely send text messages and share sensitive patient information, including photo and video attachments, in real time. PMD MESSAGING OVERVIEW

Contacts. Your contacts list includes users in your group as well as users associated with your group who have pMD Secure Messaging. Easily add new users with on-the-fly messaging invites at no additional cost to you or the recipients. You and your invites can send and receive HIPAA compliant messages using pMD Messaging apps for iOS or Android devices.

How to Compose a Message. Simply type your message into the box. Tap on the camera icon to attach a photo to the message. To create a group message, tap on the + sign to add additional users.

How to Delete Messages. To delete an individual message, press and hold your finger on a message bubble. You can also swipe a conversation to the left to delete all messages from that user.

Read Receipts. Want to know if your most recent message has been viewed by the recipient? Look for the "Read" stamp underneath your last message bubble.

Automated SMS Text Reminders. pMD will send an automated SMS text message reminder as a follow-up to anyone who has not read a message, typically after 30 minutes. The text will come from 82749.
