pMD has updated our ICD-10 database to reflect the CMS additions and deletions. CMS is updating the ICD-10 codes for FY 2021, removing 58 codes, adding 490 new codes, and revising 47 codes.
What does this mean for you? For any visits in pMD with dates of service on or after October 1, 2020, deleted codes will no longer be available for use. However, these codes will still be valid for dates of service prior to October 1. All new codes have been added to the pMD database and are available for use on October 1. Please be sure to log into pMD and add any applicable new codes to your organization’s code list.
